You Need this Headband Wig!

I used to have very long hair. Those of you who have been rocking with us since the long time ago days know what I’m talking about. But after giving birth to Jonathan, something changed and I just couldn’t handle the thinning, super-long hair anymore. It was too much to manage, and I couldn’t find the time to style it the way that I want.
So I cut my very short into a Mom Cut a couple years ago, but I still can’t find time to style my hair the way I want!! And I also just want to be able to switch things up every once in a while.
This might come as a surprise to some of you, but I watch a lot of wig tutorials on Instagram. I have always been interested in Headband Wigs because they seem to be the easiest and quickest to install! When they said “Beginner Friendly,” they meant it. I simply:
twisted two parts of my hair in the back
secured the ends of my hair on either side of my head with bobby pins
flipped the wig inside out
used the combs on the inside to secure the wig to my head (starting with the front first, then I pulled it down to secure it in the back)
adjusted the headband and combed the hair to make it neat
And that was it! No glue necessary. I didn’t even really have to do much with my hair in the front, but I did gel it down to avoid having flyaway hairs. If you watched the BTS of this shoot on my stories, then you saw how much I was swinging my head from side to side. The hair is sooooooo soft! I just kept running my fingers through it. I didn’t notice any shedding either, so that’s a great thing.
The package comes with different colored headbands for you to put over the black one, just in case you feel like being fancy. I love a top knot, and I love the fact that I can do that with this wig.

You know what really sold me on this wig? The fact that I Facetimed my mother (a woman who hates wigs) and her jaw dropped. She said she wants one, and she even tried it on when I came over!
